Elvie Williams, BM, MM
About Me: Welcome
Elvie Williams originally from Jersey City, New Jersey is an experienced Celebrity Vocal Instructor with a vast array of experience and expertise across genres in singing, music education, and vocal coaching.

He obtained his bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Westminster Choir College of the Arts of Rider University where he studied under renowned dramatic soprano, Dr. Sharon Sweet. He received his graduate degree in Vocal Performance from Belmont University.

Elvie has worked and collaborated alongside established musicians and artists. Credits include Westminster Jubilee Singers, opening for CeCe Winans; performing for the international telecast of Beethoven's: Symphony No. 9 with the Korean Broadcast Symphony Orchestra at the UN. He has performed at the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Kimmel Center, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, international festivals in Riga Latvia and a plethora of other concert halls and venues.

Since moving to Nashville, TN, Elvie has become a mainstay within the artistic community as a sought after artist. He is known for being able to navigate seamlessly through multiple genres of music and disciplines. Elvie made his Nashville regional theater debut performing the lead role of the "Youth" in the musical "Passing Strange" at the Street Theatre Company directed by Jon Royal. He also appeared in the musical "Soul of Broadway" at the Murfreesboro Center for Performing Arts and the Capitol Theatre in Lebanon, TN. In 2018 Elvie made his equity theatre debut performing the role of "Peter" in Nashville Children's Theatre's production of "A Snowy Day and Other Stories" by Ezra Jack Keats. He has also performed for several seasons with the Nashville Opera appearing in La Cenerentola, The Barber of Seville, The Pirates of Penzance, Tales of Hoffman & is set to perform in their 2020 production of the opera Rigoletto.
Elvie currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Tennessee State University where he teaches courses in French & German diction, Music Appreciation, and Applied Voice.
As a private vocal instructor, Mr. Williams students have performed in regional and equity theatres, at the Essence Festival and various venues throughout the nation. His students can be seen in global campaigns and have opened for artists such as India Arie, Ledisi, Genuwine, and Tank to name a few.

Elvie’s passion for music and personal quest to cultivate this generation of artists is the impetus behind the LV Vocal Studio. Elvie believes that in addition to his innate gift, stringent preparation, dedication to the cultivation of his craft, and unshakeable confidence is what has opened many doors for him musically. He holds each student that endeavors to embark on the journey of artistry to the same standard. It is his ambition to help every singer that comes to his studio to ascend to the next dimension of their gift.
As a servant leader, his life's mission is to simply prepare and send.
